2021 marks 50 years of Christ the King Manor serving our communities, and we are excited to announce that our 50th Anniversary celebration is planned. Our slogan for the year is “50 Years, Celebrating by Giving”. Throughout 2021, on a monthly basis, we will fundraise and donate to 12 worthwhile causes, which we believe exemplify our mission.
Christ the King Manor’s first organization that we are supporting is the Gateway Humane Society in Falls Creek! Please join us in supporting them through the Amazon Smile link. For each purchase on Amazon Smile, the Gateway Humane Society gets a portion of the proceeds. The Gateway Humane Society is a no kill shelter. We chose supporting the Humane Society as they care for their shelter animals with love and compassion. They constantly make sure their adoptable pets are groomed, fed, well played with, and has wonderful living areas.
Along with supporting organizations in our community, we will also be highlighting our history, residents, and employees via social media, newsletter, and website. Over the years lots has changed at Christ the King Manor. We have moved from an infirmary, to a skilled nursing facility. We then added our Personal Care facility. After, we added Cottages, Home Support Services, and Apartments. We look forward to sharing some of our highlights at Christ the King Manor; however, we want to hear some of your stories!
