Congratulations to Sarah Michalski, our first Employee of the Month for 2023! Sarah has been a crucial part of our nursing team for 26 years. She is attentive and responsive for each of her residents, and she's always willing to help those around her. She always knows what's best for her residents, which demonstrates her dedication to her career. She truly goes above and beyond for Christ the King Manor. Congratulations on such a well-deserved honor; we would not be the same facility without employees like Sarah!
February Employee
of the Month
Congratulations to our February Employee of the Month, Heather Dodd! Heather coordinates our Home Support division and keeps everything running smoothly for her team. When we receive new clients, she does everything in her power to make sure they're comfortable during their transition to our care. She has taken nights of her own time to make sure a new client was properly cared for. She helps train new office staff, and she is a true joy to work with. Her smile and radiant positivity make her clients and coworkers' days better. Thank you for being a true professional and ideal employee. Congratulations on a hard-earned honor!
March Employee
of the Month
Jenny Fernandes has been a crucial part of the Christ the King Manor Team since she started in our Nurse Assistant Training Program. She graduated in last June and hasn’t looked back. She takes great care of the residents in her hall, and she was nominated by Brian Belinda for her hard work and dedicated care. She brings a positive spirit to work that helps the residents and coworkers in her hall through tough days. She is always reliable, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. Her story of success coming through our CNA program is exactly why we like to train our own nursing team from within. Jenny represents the true career growth achievable through perseverance. April Employee
of the Month
Lorrie Shelstad started her career at CTKM with our Home Support Team, but since she transitioned to our Personal Care Team, she’s learned and grown so much in her new role. She became a Med Tech, took mentor training to become our second-shift mentor for PCAs and Med Techs, and took charge as our second-shift lead Med Tech. She’s always willing to help others, pick up extra shifts, and cover for her teammates. She’s always helpful to others, including her residents, and she’ll stop whatever she’s doing to make sure everyone gets what they need. She deserves so much praise and recognition for her hard work, dedication, and personal time she’s given to her career. Thank you for everything you do, and congrats again!

of the Month
To cap off National Nurses Week and to honor one of our best and brightest, we’d like to congratulate Arden Lockitski, RN, as our Employee of the Month for May! Arden has so much compassion for our residents and our team. She’s always ready to help anyone in need, and she goes above and beyond to make CTKM a home away from home for our residents. Her expertise as an RN Supervisor helps our Nursing Team operate at the highest level. We can’t say enough about her dedication and hard work.

Congratulations to Tina Hamaker, our Employee of the Month for June! Tina is beloved by her residents and was recommended by numerous family members for this well-deserved honor. Congratulations to Lisa Summerson, our Employee of the Month for July! Lisa has been an incredible addition to our Personal Care team, and her activities keep our residents engaged socially, physically, and mentally. She was nominated by the residents who attend her daily crafts, events, and workouts. Her kind spirit and positive demeanor help keep PC lively each day. Our residents' social needs are vital to their health, and Lisa ensures everyone feels included. Thank you for everything you do, and congrats again!

Congratulations to Steven Gregor, our Employee of the Month for September! Steve is a crucial member of our Maintenance Team, and he works diligently to help maintain the cottages and apartments for our Independent Living residents. He's quick to help anyone in need, always puts others first, and is beloved by our residents. Please help us thank our October Employee of the Month, Dave Michalski, for all his hard work and dedication to CTKM. We hear nothing but amazing things from the residents in his care and their families. Dave has been a crucial member of our Nursing Team for nearly 30 years, and we can’t thank him enough. He doesn't seek out praise or attention, but his care for his residents is truly commendable. Congratulations on such a well-deserved honor!
