Resources for Everyone

At Christ the King Manor, we know how important it is to be in the know of what is happening on our campus. We offer many online options for families to keep in touch with loved ones, keep updated on what’s happening, and understand how we are keeping your loved ones protected.

Our Activities Team works hard every day to provide Virtual Visits, Window Visits, and Visit Box Visits to residents and their loved ones. For Virtual Visits, an activity aide will assist in the call by sitting with the resident while chatting with their loved one via Skype, Google Duo, or FaceTime. For our window visits, families are able to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays, or even just casually chat between the window of the resident’s room. Thanks to two of our maintenance team members who built out Visit Boxes, Jake Felix and Derek Heckathorne, we are able to offer another in-person way for family and friends to connect. The Visit Boxes are located outside of the activity area in our Skilled Nursing Care Facility and our Memory Support Unit. We are happy to provide many easy ways for you and your loved ones, who live at Christ the King Manor, to connect. All visits must be pre-scheduled to allow our Activities Team to organize the day while being able to promise the normal amount of time offered for a visit. Feel free to call in and ask our receptionist to schedule a visit, or you can head to our website and submit our form: https://www.ctkmanor.org/visit-form

One way for you to keep updated on all aspects of what is happening at Christ the King Manor, is to check out our Coronavirus Update page on our website. On this page, you will get updates as they occur. You will also see a full list of COVID-ready employees who went above and beyond to complete a certification to protect and safely care for residents during this time. The safety of our residents is our number one priority. Check out our updates here: https://www.ctkmanor.org/coronavirus-update

Weekly, you can get free aging insights straight to your email by subscribing to your blog. Christ the King Manor thinks that open communication is important, especially right now. Please take advantage of all of these resources as many of them are available 24/7. Please keep an eye out for many more resources that we will be offering in the future. We are blessed to be able to offer many ways to connect residents and families with each other while providing many resources for them, too.
