Enhancing resident care and supporting Christ The King Manor’s programs and services, the members of the Auxiliary are our ambassadors to the community.
The Auxiliary has been an integral part of the Christ the King Manor since its earliest days. For over 45 years the Auxiliary has supported our activities benefiting seniors and their families throughout the area. They help support the services, programs, facilities, and mission of Christ the King Manor through volunteer services, fund raising, and a positive image to the community. These members of the Auxiliary are our ambassadors in the community and we appreciate them!
Since its inception, the Auxiliary has contributed thousands of dollars toward the support of Christ the King Manor's facility and residents. Over the years, the Auxiliary has provided several vehicles for the transportation needs of our residents and financially supported the construction of the Personal Care Unit and the Chapel.
Due to the Auxiliary memberships generous support, Christ the King Manor was able to achieve many things throughout this past year:
- New Beds - Isolation Stations - Therapy Cats - Office upgrades - Life Musical Entertainment - Phones for Residents
Our big event each year is the Christ the King Manor Annual Auxiliary Chicken Barbecue, where we serve over 600 Auxiliary members and family.
This year’s Auxiliary Campaign will help provide funding for:
- Enhancing resident activities in house and field trips - Upgrading resident areas - Purchasing new equipment - Construction of a new dining room - Upgrading the communication system for residents and staff
